Pokémon Arena

In a decision that you're probably all either laughing at or criticising, or thinking "what the eff we have enough admins", I have made Lawliet an admin. He has displayed confidence in Arena and has shown himself to be a spectacular admin on at least on other forum. He also has the highest postcount despite only recently joining Arena, and most of his posts actually aren't spam.

This is the last new admin you'll be seeing in a very long time, though.

The Edge is also a moderator now. He's shown enough devotion lately through PMs and the staff forum to be awarded with this position.

On a side note, no more mods. Unless ChaoBreeder comes back.

Just a friendly reminder that Terial, an old admin from 2006-2007, has returned.

He did not, however, come empty-handed. The two of us are currently working together with a few of the other admins and members on a major revamp of Arena - part of the big plans I was recently talking about and the constant shifts in staff members.

The fifth generation of Pokémon will be revealed on Saturday, during Pokémon Sunday (here we go again).

I'd post the new info for the international versions of HeartGold and SoulSilver, but I'm sure you all saw it on SPP already.

In a totally unexpected turn of events (and by that I mean totally expected, I do this all the time :P) I am re-shaping our staff. I probably won't have applications this time, but I wanted to ask one question to begin with:

Do we need so many moderators? Do we even need moderators to begin with?

Oh, and I'd also like to announce The Edge's position as the Director of Design.

I have finally gotten my laptop back from repairs, and I'm ready to work on restoring these forums once more!

Hopefully next year's video games (HG/SS, Mega Man 10, Mario Galaxy 2, Project Needlemouse) won't be too much of a distraction. -_^

I don't know how long it'll be before you all see me again. It could be anytime from tomorrow to mid-2010, but it'll most likely be somewhere around the middle of the two.

You guys know about my various Acer problems, correct? Well, my mom randomly decided to do something about it... Tomorrow. :\

Pokémon Rumble was released today for WiiWare! This title will cost you 1500 points and from what I've heard from importers this is a great game, you should go check it out!

I could have a post competition like we did last year, but when you think about it, why? I'd rather not bribe my members into posting. I believe that for this to be a good forum, we should have trust that our members will post without needing to accept bribes.

It's a good idea to get activity started, though, on lacking forums such as ours.

I shall make a simple request: Post more. Not for yourself, but for everyone. The more you post, the more activity this forum will have - and I believe that's already a good enough reward as is.
