These are the rules decided upon by the Pokémon Arena Staff to help keep this forum a nice, safe, and fun place to post in. These may be found on the forums after registration, so please re-read them occasionally as changes will be made over time.

General Forum Rules

Keep things PG.
Please do not use offensive language, post explicit content, or discuss any sexual matters. The occasional joke or pun is okay, but please keep things tasteful. This rule will be expanded upon in the rest of the following rules...

No Spamming.
Please do not make posts that have little to no relevance to the topic you're posting in or post messages without content. If you go by what spam stands for, you should know what not to post. S.P.A.M. stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Anything like that is considered Spam and may be deleted when sighted.

Do not Double Post.
Please do not post multiple times in a row. Use the edit button to change your posts instead. The edit button is located in the upper-right hand corner of your posts.

Respect this board and it's members.
Do not post messages that insult, bash, flame, or in any way disrespect a member. If you see this behavior acted towards you or another member, use the report button, you shouldn't act the same way to retaliate. During a flame war, all parties will be punished, not just the ones who started the fight.

Avoid using words that may be deemed offensive to other people.
Donot post words that may degrade a persons gender, race, religion, creed, nationality, sexuality, or social standing. An example may be to call women weak solely based on their gender. Any use of swearing orprofanity will result in a warning and eventually a ban if kept up. This falls into keeping things PG on Arena.

Keep suggestive themes to a minimum.
Please avoid discussing sexual matters on this forum to an extreme. We don't want any perverted discussions. Please keep it mature. Casual talk about your feelings on abstinence would be an example of a mature conversation, while tasteless sexual humour is strictly forbidden. Once again, keep everything PG.

Posting of pornographic images or videos is prohibited.
You are not allowed to link to sites or directly link to images containing pornography or any other strongly offensive content, or include them in your posts. Doing such will be met with a ban when sighted.

Do not advertise other sites or forums in posts or private messages.
Do not post links to other sites or forums in posts or private messages. This is only allowed in signatures.

Do not link to illegal or illegally tampered software or content.
Do not link to sites that contain ROMs, Warez, serial codes and cracks, or other software and fileshare programs or link directly to a download.

You may not ask about banned members.
Do not ask about banned members. The details of a ban are not made public to protect the privacy of that member. Posts asking "Why was he banned?" or demands such as "Unban them now!" Will be deleted. If a banned member wishes to give you the details of their ban, they can do so when they are allowed back.

Please do not register multiple accounts.
Do not register multiple accounts to vote more than once on a poll, back up arguments, evade a ban, to make it seem like there are multiple members, or mislead other members. Ban Evasion could result in the ban being lengthened or, if the offense is serious enough, an IP ban.
