New strike system

From now on there will be a new way of enforcing our rules. It seems like we keep having to tell people to stop violating our rules, and our efforts often go to waste. Also, when we do ban someone, drama often follows. People are often confused by the ban. Hopefully this new system will make things more clear, as well as create an efficient way to keep the forum under control.
When and if you do recieve a strike, it will be visible on your user profile. It will include when and why you recieved the strike. Strikes expire after three months, as we do realize that people make mistakes.
Each of our rules has a certain amount of strikes given when it is violated. Three strikes lead to a permanent ban. From this point on, banned members will NOT return to Arena. One who can't follow the rules doesn't belong on the site. This is not a very strict place. Most forums have the same rules we do, and most of those actually ENFORCE their rules. Here is a detailed explanation of our rules.
The amount of strikes given for each violation is as follows:
Spamming: Can range from just a warning to an automatic ban, depending on the content of the spam.
Double posting: Spammy double posts will recieve a warning, and then a strike if they continue. If the double post is in a thread such as chat quotes, you won't be punished. Just use your judgement.
Disrespecting the board or its members: Depends on the content. You will recieve a warning if you are merely being disrespectful, but outright flaming and bashing will recieve two strikes, or three if it's very severe.
Using words that may be offensive to others: One strike.
Tasteless sexual humor: One strike. Two strikes if it is very explicit. Kids go to Pokemon sites, you know.
Posting pornography: Automatic ban.
Advertising other forums in posts: Warning, and eventually a strike if it persists.
Linking to illegal or illegally tampered software or content: One strike.
Complaining about the rules or the banning of other members: One strike.
If any members who have been previously banned and have now returned to Arena (LTM, Seir) recieve one strike, they will be automatically banned again.
