Big Changes are Coming

In a totally unexpected turn of events (and by that I mean totally expected, I do this all the time :P) I am re-shaping our staff. I probably won't have applications this time, but I wanted to ask one question to begin with:
Do we need so many moderators? Do we even need moderators to begin with?
Oh, and I'd also like to announce The Edge's position as the Director of Design.

We do need moderators, but not as many as we already have. You need people who can actually moderate well; So I am willing to step down.

I doubt we even need moderators. You by yourself could run the whole thing. Nothing bad ever happens here, just a few topics that need to be moved. That's it. In the case that there was something very bad happening, there's not a whole lot a moderator could do, anyway.

I don't think moderators are necessary. There is not much in the way of moderating that goes on here. Everything else is more doable for admins, also. So they don't really function much, if you know what I mean.

Thanks again Shane... I'm really busy at the moment but I plan to work on a new forum skin during the next few weeks
