Pokémon Sprites Redone

First, let's take this Gastly sprite made by my friend Jake (or Nakugetsu to some of you):
This is something I've wanted to do for a while. I first tried it on a trainer sprite and decided to put that one on hold so that I could do some Pokémon - they're easier and more fun.
This is the result:
This took me about half an hour to do, and the best part is that I am able to make it as big as I want within the original program without any loss of quality.
I can essentially call this the Pokémon HD project.

Wow, that's pretty cool. It could be useful too. What about an official Pokemon sprite?

I like it. I like this whole idea.
Do you have plans to import them into a ROM? I think it'd be a cool thing.

A fangame, probably. A ROM, however, will just make these look like old sprites.
I'm not proud of my next one, which is a Pikachu, but I'm about to post it anyway.

What exactly do you mean by a fangame? Something made out of scratch, or a different program? Or a very modified ROM?

This is actually really cool. I'd be proud of it if I made it, hahaha.
Are you gonna have every pokemon stylized like this though? You know, unofficial but cool lookin'?

I'm trying to do Pikachu but his feet are giving me a hard time. :[
